I always been a fan of Vinnie Paz. Although I heard of the group Jedi Mind Tricks in the late 90s it wasn’t until 2006 that I actually listened to group’s music.
Through the years I always had Vinnie’s music in my crates. As someone who has been in Hip Hop culture since 1982 I always the felt one of characteristics of a great emcee was the sound of an emcee’s voice. Vinnie Paz is one of the few emcees who’s voice just works well in any type of beat. Similar to Method Man, Rakaa Iriscience and Defari.
Although my producing chops may not be as polished and refined as Stoupe, The Enemy Of Mankind with these four tracks I believed I delivered a nice collection tracks that fit well with JMT/Vinnie Paz style.
As a bonus I included two reworks to the recently released unreleased tracks, Ivan Drago and Kalashnikovs. Lastly, in 2022 Vinnie Paz was guest on Brother Ali’s podcast , The Travelers Podcast where he discussed Hip Hop, his conversion to Islam, the death of his father and other matters
