I’m back with another round remixes featuring classic Hip Hop tracks. Included in this month’s reworks is a remix to one of my favorite Hip Hop tracks. The Facts of Life by the Rock Squad.
For those not in the know The Rock Squad was group in mid 80’s that featured a young Parrish Smith aka PMD from EPMD as their deejay named DJ Eazzy P. Along with his older brother James with name of Smitty D. Also the track featured a young singing group named TKA Disciples. That group later found great success as TKA in Latin Freestyle/Dance scene.
The track is an early production work by legendary producers the Latin Rascals., Albert Cabera and Tony Moran.
On personal note I remember buying the record when it released and sadly remember when my crate of records was stolen at party and lost this record.
