I really wanted to drop another Volume of my Rump Shaker mix series, but time got away from me and I couldn’t devote the time I needed to for the mix. I pivoted to mix of 80s and 90s goodness.
This mix is a little rough around the edges and might not be the party mix for New Year’s Eve but more like something to set the mood for night. This mix runs the gamut from a forgotten New Jack swing track from Boy George, a Freestyle remix track from R&B group Atlantic Starr to a R&B track from Freestyle artist Trinere. I , also, threw in a rework of Morris Day’s classic song, Color Of Success. Along with little known tracks from R&B group Aleem, actress/dancer Nia Peeples, Al B Sure and forgotten Vanity 6 clone, Lushus Daim.
Lastly, I’m thinking per my Summer Grooves series, this might become an annual event. Anyhow you will have wait to until December 2025 to find out if Body Movin will become annual event.
Stay safe and enjoy the mix and get ready to deal with 4 more years of Trump.
