Released in 2013 the pairing of the Jurassic 5 alum with singer Ming Xia from the group The Spooks is a perfect match.
The duo has previously collaborated on Chal 2na’s 2009 album Fish Outta Water for the song 4 Be Be. Just as with that track this joint hits the sweet spot of Hip Hop and soulful vocals.
Producer Sleepy Bit has taken the original (Here), which is a showstopper in its own right, and transformed it into something with more of a dark groove.As a side note, I made a best of The Spooks mix back in 2012 (Here) for my Rise & Shine series.
