In 2005 producer Sufjan Stevens released his Illinoise album. A few years later in 2009 Canada’ sTor took the tracks and paired them with some classic and not so classic Hip Hop Acapellas to produce a superb album of funky Hip Hop.
Although the whole remix album is dope I decided to only post this track featuring the legendery Big Daddy Kane and DJ Premier. The original version of Any Type of Way was relased in 2003 by Fat Beats and I even included it in my Fat beats mix back in 2012. Although I am Premo fan I have to say Tor’s blending of Big Daddy Kane vocals over a Sufjan beat surpasses the original Premo beat
